Helping to keep tomorrow clean

Here at Harley & Lola we are not only passionate about design but also about protecting our environment. We make a point of sourcing ethically produced products and use recycled packaging wherever possible.

H&L Green Scheme

We care about the planet and protecting it, so we have launched the 'H&L Green Scheme" with our partner CarbonClix. The scheme has two main components:

Carbon Neutral Delivery

The scheme offers all our customers the option of choosing carbon neutral delivery for all purchases. We have estimated the emissions from your delivery based upon distance and weight of the product.

Customers will also receive a free CarbonClix for every pound you spend with Harley & Lola! CarbonClix can be used to support a range of environmental and community projects designed to reduce pollution.

Choosing to shop at Harley & Lola is choosing to help the planet and keep tomorrow clean. We can all do our bit to minimise our impact on the planet and help reduce our emissions.

Climate Change

The effect of climate change is apparent all around us and it is one of the most significant issues facing the global community in the 21st century.

Climate change impacts water availability and agricultural productivity, as well as causing extreme temperatures and drought and increasing the risk of forest fires and rises in sea level.

In reality, everything we do has an impact on the environment and every day activities such as driving cars, flying, purchasing food or clothing, watching TV or even boiling the kettle all contribute to creating our individual Carbon Footprint.

Carbon Offsetting

So, what exactly is carbon offsetting?

Carbon offsetting compensates for the pollution emissions we cannot reduce by helping to fund projects that prevent pollution being released in to The Earth’s atmosphere.

Carbon offsets are quantified and sold in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). One retired metric ton of carbon offsets represents one less ton of emissions in the atmosphere.

Offsetting is seen as a stepping-stone on the way to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
