New Danish Lighting by Vita

Share:

We are very pleased to announce that we have launched a new lighting range from Danish design house, Vita! There are five elegant and swoon worthy designs to choose from on the Harley & Lola online shop, and boy, they are just B E A U T I F U L!

All designs are inspired by nature surrounding the Danish countryside and made with sustainable materials. Vita have made sure all CO2 emissions are reduced by making the lamps flatpack and lightweight, making it easier to minimise volume for worldwide shipping. When your new lamp arrives you will need to assemble it yourself. But have no fear, as there are easy to follow videos showing you how to do so. The constructions are designed to be versatile. All you need to decide is whether you want to have your new shade as a pendant or table lamp?

Which Vita lamp are you?

Say hello, to the largest of the crop... The EOS in light brown! This is my favourite out of the collection and was designed by Soren Ravn Christensen. Each lamp is natural and one of a kind and we just love how it's completely made out of paper and approximately 4,500 goose feathers. It's very easily cleaned by using a hair dryer.

Maybe you're more inspired by waves? If so, the Carmina and the Carmina Mini Azure are the shades for you! Designed by Soren Ravn Christensen and Anders Klem, their inspiration was taken by the soft waves of slow moving sand dunes found on the beautiful shorelines surrounding Denmark. The shade is made from polypropylene and PC materials resulting in it being unbreakable.

The Silvia Copper is a beautiful shape and reminds us of a pine cone. Designed by Vita themselves, the overlapping triangular blades give off a soft dappled light when lighting up your room.

Lastly, say hello to the Lora XL Shade! Designed by Lorenza Radaelli, the lamp is assembled by 65 identical pieces resulting in a stunning sculpture, with a beautiful swirl of flowers and patterns.
